Bill is married to Sherry Wyckoff-Bauer, has 4 adult children, 6 grandchildren and is the guardian for his parents that are in their late 90’s. He has lived in West Seneca for over 33 years and raised his family there.
He started his highway construction company, Edbauer Construction, in 2006 and moved the business to West Seneca in 2011. Bill was able to build the business from a start – up to a 10 million dollar a year business. In 2017, Edbauer Construction was named the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year”
Over the past several years, Bill has had the opportunity to work as a volunteer on a few Town steering committees (Comprehensive Planning and Sign Revision) and currently serves on the Town of West Seneca Ethics board.
He has over 30 years of experience working with private companies in the municipal infrastructure industry and another 12 years of owning and managing his own company in the same industry. This has afforded him the opportunity to personally meet and work with all of the infrastructure agencies involved with the Town of West Seneca (NYSDOT & ECDPW).
Through out his career, Bill has had the pleasure of serving on multiple Trade Union collective bargaining agreement negotiating teams as well as serving as a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 17.
Bill has maintained a very strong work ethic over the last 42 years for his business and will continue to work hard over the next two years for the Town of West Seneca. He will continue to work with the same amount of dedication and professionalism.
